Brian Fugere

As Chief Product Officer, Brian is responsible for driving CentralSquare’s Product organization, overseeing both our Public Safety and Public Administration portfolios.

Bringing over 30 years of go-to-market experience in software companies of all sizes, Brian joins CentralSquare after serving as the CPO at symplr, a Clearlake & Charlesbank private equity-backed company where he spearheaded product management, AI/ML initiatives, and corporate and go-to-market strategy. Under his leadership, symplr, a market leader in Healthcare Operations, developed the industry’s first integrated platform for the Healthcare Operations space by integrating over 10 acquisitions and more than 28 products while leveraging an internally built UX Design system and a suite of AWS-hosted cloud services.

During Brian’s five and a half years at symplr, he also served as Chief Marketing Officer and led the Engineering organization. Prior to that, he was CMO of Virence Health, a carve-out from GE Healthcare, and held leadership roles including President of The Estimating Edge, COO and CMO of RemitDATA, and key positions at Belo Interactive, Stryker, and America Online.

Brian holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, an MBA from George Mason University, and completed a leadership and business program at Harvard Business School.
